Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed a whole slew of toys he’ll be bringing along to the third annual Doki Doki Osaka Sofubi Event next weekend! A lot more intimate than the standard Japanese toy cons, with just a few dozen artists in attendance, Jon will namely be focusing on Rampage’s own self produced figures, bringing along a grip of new Gachapon Goblin custom sets (plus the debut of the Daemon “Uni-Oxter” mash-up), mint, black and clear blue unpainted micros, alongside not one, not two, but three Jeff Lamm micro runs, including the pictured ”Stee-Gar-Amon” V2.0! Opening it’s doors next Sunday (12/1), expect any leftovers from the event to hit the Rampage store at some point the following week…
Currently winging it’s way from Japan to the permanent Man-E-Toys collection, we’re proud to present the latest custom from Rampage Toys‘ Jon Malmstedt… the Toxie Bootleg! Inspired by our love of cult 90′s classic, The Toxic Crusaders, the mixed-part Mishka figure has been primed in a detail hugging black, replete with beautifully faded down sprays in the misfit superhero’s signature palette of neon orange, green and blue. Easily one of the most accomplished Bootleg customs we’ve seen to date, we’ll be counting the days until we can finally stick him in the cabinet alongside the rest of our collection! Interested in bagging a similar piece? Then you’ll be glad to know that you can e-mail Jon directly at email@example.com with any enquiries…
Joining the previously unvieled “Hybrid” and “Brain” sculpts, Splurrt is proud to reveal the third and final head for the upcoming Lab Mice release, the tumourous “Infected”! Standing at around 3″ tall when placed on the standard mouse body, all three Pinky and the Brain-inspired designs are due for soft vinyl production courtesy of Rampage Toys early next year. Splurrt has mentioned that if these do well there could be a chance of more heads and even bodies in the future- here’s keeping our fingers crossed!
