Marking day 3 of our exclusive Tru:Tek/Disarticulator reveals for ToyCon UK this weekend, we’re proud to present a very special collaboration with Rampage Toys… the Pachi Gacha Machine! Featuring a vintage Cosmos inspired vendor/display unit realised by Tru:Tek, the little red box will be filled to the brim with custom Rampage keshi, with 2 very different series up for grabs; Cupcake Pachi In Ya Pocket, featuring 3 classic Rampage MIMP customs, and Mecha Freaks, a crazy bunch of rubber ‘bots that were created during our trip to Japan in February…

Cast by Tru:Tek in a mix of TCon inspired mint greens, magenta, and flesh, the little guys come packed in a classic red/clear gacha capsule, with each purchase securing at least one figure from both series. Fresh from the debut open run last week, Splurrt‘s Lab Mice return for an exclusive ToyCon UK run! Produced and painted by Rampage Toys‘ Jon Malmstedt, the set of 3 3″ tall sofubi minis have been cast in a bright red soft vinyl, coming with a mix of metallic sprays and tight hand painted detailing. Limited to a batch of 10, the ToyCon Lab Mice will be up for grabs at the Rampage/Disarticulator booth this Saturday, April 12th, with an estimated price of £30-£35 per set… Stay tuned for more reveals from the RT x DA table later on today!

Joining the slew of exclusive kaiju, sofubi and keshi that’ll be up for grabs at the Rampage Toys x Disarticulators ToyCon UK booth next Saturday, our very own Tru:Tek is proud to reveal the resurrection of one of the craziest ever resin figures in keshi form… the mighty Tanklopula! The brainchild of Triclops, Jesse Destasio and The Tarantulas, the Rampage sculpted mini figure features signature elements from all 3 artists, including tentacles, a Nibbler chest piece and Tankhead turret- all coming fitted with fully interchangeable, 100% Glyos compatible joints. Originally making a very limited appearance back in 2011, the latest (and most likely final) run has been produced in a urethane rubber courtesy of Tru:Tek, with the batch of 15 each coming in a special one-off colorway inspired by a wide variety of 80s and 90s pop culture. Touching down exclusively at the Rampage/DA booth (#16) come opening time at 9am, Tanklopula has been priced at £35 a piece. With little over a week away now until the big event, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just started to reveal the gargantuan selection of vinyl he’ll be carting along to ToyCon- starved UK kaiju and sofubi collectors be warned, you’re likely to be leaving the booth penniless and wanting more! Joining the previously teased Usir and Monoclon micro-runs, a number of other figures have been confirmed so far, including a pair of one-off Yusei Majins from Longneck, Rampage MVH customs (including the beautiful pictured DX!), Ugly Unicorn x Nibbler mash-ups with matching micros, plus an exclusive “Red” run of Splurrt’s Lab Mice… All to be released through the Rampage x Disarticulator booth (#16), pricing, edition sizes and drop times are all still to be confirmed, so be sure to keep a close eye on the Rampage IG feed here for more details soon…

Hiramoto Kiaju over at Cojica Toys has just revealed that Monoclon will be invading ToyCon UK next week in an all-new exclusive colorway! Featuring the figure’s standard flesh soft vinyl base, the stunning vintage style dino has been sprayed in white with subtle brown lowlights and hand painted detailing. Due to be going on sale at the Rampage Toys x Disarticulators booth (#16) alongside a gargantuan selection of kaiju, sofubi and keshi, pricing and edition size is still to be confirmed…

Joining forces with our very own Disarticulators for what has got to be one of the most hotly tipped booths at ToyCon UK this year, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just started to reveal the horde (and we mean horde!) of toys he’ll be bring along- the first coming in the form of these beautiful Splurrt Usirs! Cast up in a crystal clear soft vinyl for the release, the 5″ tall figures have been treated to a number of sprays by Jon, both inside and out, coming complete with “mystery” guts and some insanely tight hand painted detailing (just check out those eyes!). Pricing and edition size are still to be confirmed, so be sure to come back for full release details alongside a slew of other reveals over the coming weeks!

Yep, yet more Rampage sofubi micros today, as we bring you word of the first Lab Mice release- Albino Test Subject Group 1! Designed/sculpted by Splurrt and produced by Rampage Toys’ Jon Malmstedt in Japan, the debut 3 pack is set to come cast in a white soft vinyl, with a subtle mix of pink, blue and yellow sprays (final paint application TBC). Going up for pre-order in the Rampage Toys store alongside an unpainted black set (plus the Mutant Head Butt Attack leftovers!) this coming Monday, March 17th at 10am Japan time, pricing on the little guys is still to be confirmed…

Seeing numerous different releases over the past 6 of months courtesy of Rampage Toys‘ Gachapon Goblins series, Walter Parenton‘s Bobby Beast and Harry Demon sofubi micros are now up for grabs in 2 new colourways- a squishy Wild Raspberry and GID Triple Goddess! Designed by Parenton, sculpted by Joseph Harmon and produced by Rampage in Japan, the unpainted 2″ figures come packed together with exclusive custom header cards for the release. Priced at just $15 for the Raspberry and $20 for GID, the pair can be found in the Bobby Beast store right here

Hot off the heals of our look at the Lab Mice wax protos last week, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed another 2 sofubi micros that’ll be debuting later this month, Sister Mayo and My Shaggy Little Unicorn! Created as a kind of mini follow-up to last year’s hugely popular Gachapon Goblin series, the all-new Sister Mayo has been designed and sculpted by Art Junkie, whilst the Little Unicorn has been adapted from the original GG sculpt- now coming complete with a thick gruff coat of hair! Due for pre-order alongside Splurrt‘s Lab Mice (pictured below) in both unpainted white and black in the coming weeks, be sure to keep a close eye on the Rampage IG feed here for more details soon…

Following our look at Mutant Vinyl Hardcore‘s various contributions for the hotly tipped “Mutant Head Butt Attack” at Rampage Studios this Friday, March 14th, Rampage Toys’ Jon Malmstedt has just revealed another 3 of his own custom creations for the show! Featuring the previously teased Meteor-X micro-run, coming in a red soft vinyl with yellow base, neon green lowlights and hot pink “ooze”, these have been joined by 2 one-off customs so far; a fully fledged, battle damaged Beserker Ollie and a stunning metallic blue/purple 6-Eyes DX… Keep track of the Rampage IG feed here for more reveals over the next couple of days, and be sure to come back tomorrow for a look at the remaining MVH customs from Skull Head Butt!

With the hotly tipped MVH x SHB “Mutant Head Butt Attack” group show opening it’s doors at Rampage Studios this Friday, March 14th, Mutant Vinyl Hardcore‘s Rich Montanari Jr has revealed the collection of freaks that he’ll have on display! Featuring a number of straight Skull Head Butt customs (including the stunning Skull-X pictured above main), the real stand out pieces have come in the form of a whole slew of mash-ups, including Doji-San/Soto Majins, a Sam Heinous-X and even a little preview of upcoming figure Toxigon with a DX body! Running right through until Sunday, March 16th, expect any leftovers from the show to hit the Rampage store early next week…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Tarantulas x Rampage Toys ToyCon exclusive Nibbler mash-ups revealed…

Originally teased here a couple of weeks back, The Tarantulas have just revealed their Nibbler x Rampage Toys line-up in full! Featuring a total of 5 custom Nibblers mashed up with a number of different Rampage sofubi, including the Gachapon Goblins, Cyclops Dinos and of course, the Ugly Unicorn, the quintet have been decked out in a choice selection of vintage inspired sprays and hand painted detailing. Due to be touching down exclusively at The Tarantulas’ ToyCon UK booth next month (4/12), pricing on the figures has been estimated at around £50 each… But that’s not all! Judging by Rampage Toys’ recent IG activity, it would appear that they will also be serving up a fresh batch of Nibbler customs at the event too! Details are still thin on the ground at the moment, but we’re guessing that these will similarly be limited to a run of 5 swapped part figures. Stay tuned for more info (plus details on the MASSIVE Rampage x Disarticulator booth) as soon as we get it!

MAN-E-NEWS// The Splurrt x Rampage Toys “Lab Mice” finished wax protos revealed…

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed that Splurrt‘s long awaited Lab Mice sofubi are now entering the final stages of production! Pictured here as finished wax prototypes, the mini series is set to consist of one ear-grafted body with three different head designs up for grabs; a Hybrid, Brain and Infected. Due for preorder through the Rampage store mid-March in both unpainted black and white soft vinyl, we’re told that there may also be a chance that a few of the little guys will be making an appearance at ToyCon UK in April. MAN-E-NEWS// The MVH x SHB “Mutant Head Butt Attack” show at Rampage Studios…

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Studios is gearing up for what has got to be one of the biggest events in neo-kaiju this year, the MVH x SHB “Mutant Head Butt Attack” show! Whilst the pieces are still forthcoming at the moment, we’re told to expect various customs from both Mutant Vinyl Hardcore and Skull Head Butt (presumably utilising each other’s figures), as well as a few one offs and maybe a micro run or two from Jon himself. Running for three days at the Rampage Studios gallery space, starting March 14th (opening reception 7pm-late), be sure to keep a close eye on the Rampage IG feed here for reveals as we get closer to the event- starting with the pictured Meteor-X figures at some point tomorrow!

The Tarantulas have just revealed that they will be teaming up with Rampage Toys for a run of custom Nibbler mash-ups! Whilst information is still pretty scarce at the moment, it would appear that both parties have been working on a number of one-off figures that utilise parts from the RealxHead Nibbler as well as a whole bunch of Rampage produced toys (and maybe a few third party!), including the Gachapon Goblins, Cyclops Dinos, and of course, the Ugly Unicorn. Due to debut exclusively at ToyCon UK in April, be sure to stay tuned for a look at the full, painted line up as we get closer to the event…


MAN-E-XCLUSIVE// The Rampage Studios “Keshi Party” recap…

We’re back!!! After an amazing few days with Rampage Toys‘ Jon Malmstedt over in Japan, we’re finally catching up with the stack of news and reports we plan to share with you guys- and what better way to start than with a recap of the Rampage Studios Keshi Party?! Featuring a ton of mini figure bootlegs cast up by our very own Tru:Tek including the final appearance of the Cupcake Luchas, hilarious new gachapon micros and Nama Niku’s Kentucky Fried Muscle, these were also joined by exclusive versions of both Tankhead and Eraserhead courtesy of Eric Nilla, plus the debut of The Disarticulators’ latest figure, Atomic Uchuujin- a strong showing all round we’re sure you’ll agree! With a high calibre of attendees including a number of high profile keshi collectors, the boss of Mandarake and Longneck’s Yoda-san, it truly was an honour (not to mention completely surreal!) to be in the company of so many cool people & awesome toys…

Now onto what you guys really want to know about, the online sales! Whilst unfortunately Atomic Uchuujin sold out during the show, a number of the other figures remain, including limited flesh versions of all the new keshi customs, Nama Niku’s pachi battle sets, a whole horde of gacha figures, plus one of only two flesh Oozeball and Claw sets in existence! Currently being offered up to newsletter subscribers (sign up here if you haven’t already!), any remaining figures will be up for grabs in-store later this week…

But that’s not all… On top of the Keshi Party figures, Jon is also offering up a slew of leftovers from last weekend’s Wonderfestival! On top of a number of different painted and blank Cyclops Dinos and Gachapon Goblin micros, there’s all-new minis from Grumble Toys, a Justin Hillgrove UU micro run, more Frenzy Dino mash-ups, plus the first 100% soft vinyl Cupcake Fighter with keshi omake. Following our announcement of the “One Night Only” Keshi Party over at Rampage Studios next Friday, we thought we’d share with you guys a few of the figures that’ll be making an appearance! Joining the previously revealed Catfighter keshi, Rampage Toys’ Jon Malmstedt has got to work on a trio of all-new bootlegs for the infamous Rampage gacha machine; the bike headed Otobai Man, plus micro 2 pack Robo Racer and Tank Titan, all 3 of which will be joined by a generous helping of the original Cupcake and Super Cupcake Luchas (not pictured). Also headed for the gacha comes the debut of the latest figure from Nama Niku, Kentucky Fried Muscle! Featuring a hilarious kit-bashed drumstick head plus Nama’s signature belt branding, the figure, along with all the above, is currently being produced by our very own Tru:Tek in a mix of vintage keshi red, blue and of course flesh… Stay tuned for further reveals throughout next week (including the debut of Atomic Uchuujin), plus a full show account from Tru:Tek next weekend!

We are very proud to reveal today that our very own Tru:Tek will be heading over to Japan for a special “One Night Only” Keshi Party at Rampage Studios! Taking place ahead of Wonderfestival on Friday, February 7th, the mini show is set to feature a whole heap of rubbery goodness, including all-new Rampage and Nama Niku bootlegs for the Gachapon machine (including a keshi version of the Catfighter BASTARD), a Disarticulator retrospective display, plus a special Japan-only debut of the latest Disarticulator mini figure, Alien Uchuujin. We’ll be giving the little guy his first full reveal on the blog tomorrow, so be sure to come by and check him out!

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has teamed up with Frenzy for an all-new run of Cakefighter sofubi! Created as part of the huge line-up of toys Jon will be hauling to Wonderfestival on February 9th, the latest version of the Cupcake/Barbarian mash-up has been upgraded to 100% soft vinyl this time around (the original featured a keshi head), coming cast in flesh with metallic blue frosting, metallic “rust” attire and an extra special, still unrevealed surprise! Following yet another knockout showing at Superfestival 64 on Sunday, BLObPUS is now currently offering up his leftover toys via lottery! Featuring two different versions of Dokugan at 6,500yen ($63) each, one-off “Fortune Buroppasu” OMIKUJI BLObPUS’ priced at 4,500 yen ($43), plus a BLObPUS x Rampage Toys micro sofubi five-pack for 5,000yen ($48), all four lotteries are set to run for the next few days with winners being chosen next week. Joining a whole slew of original sofubi, customs and keshi currently being readied for this Sunday’s Superfestival 64, Jon Malmstedt proudly presents his latest mash-up micro run… the Rampage Toys x Shamrock Arrow Shark Fighter! An ingenious combination of Rampage’s Ugly Unicorn and Shamrock’s Fang, the 5″ tall figures have been cast in a gorgeous blue soft vinyl, coming with a tidy mix of silver sprays and red/gold hand painted detailing. Going on sale at booth A12 for an undisclosed sum, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that at least a couple of these guys will make it to the Rampage store soon after… Stay tuned for more reveals from Rampage later in the week!

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed that the latest batch of unpainted Gachapon Goblin micros are now available in the One-Up store! Featuring a total of 8 different designs coming from Rampage Toys, Joseph Harmon, Walter Parenton (IV – Bobbybeast creator) and Art Junkie, the little guys have been cast up in a super-squishy pink soft vinyl with a 1/10 green chase. Available to Japanese customers via a virtual gachapon machine for just 500yen a go, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that a run in this new vinyl will be available in the West soon…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Rampage Toys exclusive “Hawaii Version” Ooze-Ball and Claw set from The Disarticulators…

Hot off the heals of the (In)Action Figure 2 exclusives revealed over the weekend, The Disarticulators come with the latest edition of their new Ooze-Ball and Claw set… the Rampage Toys “Hawaii” version! Due to be making an appearance at Superfestival next Sunday, January 12th, both rubber ball and claw have been cast in a selection of vintage “Hawaii” kaiju inspired colours this time around, including fleshy pink, dark blue, black and yellow.

Limited to an edition of 10 unique sets, each coming with 4 randomly mixed parts, the Hawaii Version Ooze-Ball and Claw are due to come bagged and headed with exclusive artwork from Disarticulator, Tru:Tek, for around 4,000yen (approx. $40) each… Stay tuned for details of the online release soon!
