MAN-E-NEWS// Rampage Toys’ Jamira “Original Bullmark” edition and more for Wonderfestival Summer 14…

With Wondefestival just around the corner, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys is proud to reveal that his take on Ultraman’s Jamira will be making it’s debut at the event in an “Original Bullmark” colourway! Officially licensed by Tsuburaya, the iconic “beast with no neck” has been hand sculpted by Jon, standing at around 5″ tall and coming with 3 points of articulation. Produced by Marmit (TBC) in an authentic vintage yellow soft vinyl with light blue/silver sprays that match the first ever Bullmark Jamira release, the figure will be making a strictly limited appearance at the “Paralyzing Toys” Wonderfestival booth this Sunday, July 27th for around 4,000yen ($40) a piece…

Joining Jamira, Rampage will also have a variety of other customs and micro-runs available at the event, including both the Anticristo 666′s and “Freshly Squeezed” (super-duper squishy!) UU’s pictured above. Having teamed up earlier in the year for the monumental “Mutant Head Butt Attack” show, Rampage Toys‘ Jon Malmstedt has joined forces with Mutant Vinyl Hardcore once again for the release of the “Blood God” Ollie micro-run! Standing at around 13″ tall, the huge figure has been cast up in a milk chocolate brown soft vinyl this go around, coming with with red, metallic and black sprays, plus some thuggy, brassy bling courtesy of Jon. Limited to just 5 pieces, the Blood Gods will be up for grabs via 24 hour lottery throughout the whole of July 1st (worldwide), priced at just $200 shipped. MAN-E-NEWS// Paul Kaiju’s “MOCKADELIC” one night show at Rampage Studios announced…

Paul Kaiju has revealed that he’ll be joining forces with Rampage Studios‘ Jon Malmsedt for a special “one night only” MOCKADELIC show at the Tokyo-based gallery space! Whilst info is still thin on the ground at present, we’re assuming that the exhibition is set to feature a number of Mockbat and Mock Pilot customs from both Jon and Paul (as well as a few surprises!). Opening it’s doors this Friday, June 27th, with tickets available from 6pm followed by sales at 7pm, expect more solid info to follow on the show later in the week…


MAN-E-NEWS// The Sister Mayo sofubi micro from Rampage Toys x Art Junkie…

As promised in our post last week, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just loaded his store with a batch of Art Junkie‘s latest sofubi micro, the adorable Sister Mayo! Designed and sculpted by the artist based on his real-life martial arts expert sister, Mayo, the sub 2″ figure has been produced by Rampage in a number of different colourways for this first run. Originally debuting at “Karate Bravo” in Shibuya’s The Game last Saturday, Jon is offering up the same choice of unpainted blanks that were available at the event, with just $18 securing a blind assortment of 3 figures (with 1 random random hand paint guaranteed). Joined by a super-limited “Rainbow Cyborg” version for $10 (pictured above), Sister Mayo can be found in-store right here whilst supplies last…

MAN-E-NEWS// The Sister Mayo sofubi micros from Art Junkie x Rampage Toys…

Originally posted as a test shot way back in March, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed that the Sister Mayo sofubi micro will finally be making its debut at the Karate Bravo event in Shibuya’s The Game this Saturday, June 21st! Designed and sculpted by Art Junkie based on his real-life martial arts expert sister, Mayo, the sub 2″ figure has been produced by Rampage in a number of different colourways for the event. To be sold via gacha, with a slew of both unpainted and painted versions up for grabs, we’re guessing the little guys will be up for grabs at around 500-1,000yen ($5-$10) each. Overseas collectors will be glad to know that Jon has a batch planned for the Rampage store at some point next week- so be sure to stay tuned for full release details as soon as we get ‘em!

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Studios has just revealed one of the many pieces he’ll have on display at the Elegab x Plaseebo show later this week, a stunning one-off custom Elegab Ton’neran! Finally giving the awesome sculpt the realistic paint job it’s been aching for since its debut back in 2010, the mighty tunnel beast has been treated to layer upon layer of contrasting industrial/organic toned sprays, complete with a staggering amount of hand painted detailing- just check out the work on those micro cars! MAN-E-NEWS// The Tarantulas x Rampage Toys’ Kickstarter-style project announced…

As if all of this week’s Design Fiesta prep wasn’t enough, Jon over at Rampage Toys has just revealed that he’ll be teaming up with The Tarantulas for a private Kickstarter-style project to fund something that, in his words, will be “utterly awesome”! Whilst details are still very thin on the ground at the moment, Jon has revealed that the project will be kicked off with the sale of the Homer-inspired Nibbler you see above at some point next week. Stay tuned for more details on this intriguing proposal as soon as we hear anything!

Joining the ton of figures we’ve featured over the past couple of days, Jon over at Rampage Toys is proud to present another pair of Design Fiesta exclusives that are going to leave overseas collectors positively green with envy… a one-off custom Mockpilot and a Chibi Jinx micro-run! One of the first artists to be given the honour of painting up Paul Kaiju‘s new figures, Jon certainly doesn’t disappoint with these- the 7″ tall pilot coming in a tight blend of lilac, flesh, blue and neon green sprays with a mind-bending array of highlights, washes and hand painted detailing, whilst the batch of 9 Chibis have each been treated to their own unique paint app, ranging from the signature Rampage neons through to more classically inspired palettes… Going on sale at the Rampage Toys x Fig-Lab x Refreshment booth (E167/168) this Saturday, May 17th, we would say to look out for any leftovers online next Monday, but we all know that’s just wishful thinking!

Hot off the heals of yesterday’s massive Design Fiesta 39 reveal, Jon over at Rampage Toys returns with yet another must-have release, the Beastroyer Division 1 micro-run! Originally created as a one-off custom for the recent ToyCon UK exclusive Rampage x Tarantulas release, the ingenious Nibbler mash-up returns, featuring the same upside-down body that perfectly houses both Bobby Beast, and now Harry Demon, “driver” micros. Cast up in an army green soft vinyl with black red and silver sprays, the batch of 5 Beastroyers will be going on sale at the Rampage Toys x Fig-Lab x Refreshment booth (E167/168) this Saturday, May 17th, with any remaining stock expected to make an appearance online at some point on Monday. With Design Fiesta 39 opening its doors this weekend, Jon over at Rampage Toys has started to tease the huge selection of figures that’ll be up for grabs at his booth! Whilst a few big ticket items have been revealed so far, including a micro-run of MVH Ollies (just check out that hand painted eye!) and a custom of Yamomark’s latest figure, Cosmegira, it would appear that the main focus will be on Rampage’s self produced figures, with a whole slew of Gachapon Goblins prepped and ready (including the new Shaggy Unicorn!), alongside one of the very last Ugly Unicorn runs, the stunning GID/Pink Psychedelic Freakout edition.

After a brief hiatus since the epic MVH x SHB show, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Studios has just revealed the gallery’s latest upcoming collaborative event, pitting Japan’s mighty Elegab against the US’ legendary Bob Conge aka Plaseebo! Opening it’s doors on Saturday, May 31st, the show is set to feature a number of cross-customs from both artists (including the INSANE pictured Kouzira Night Gamer!), as well as one-off customs and maybe even a few micro runs from Jon himself. Stay tuned for full figure reveals from all 3 artists, plus details of those all-important online sales as we get closer to the event…

Coming just in time for today’s May the 4th celebrations, The Tarantulas have just revealed that a limited batch of Reverse Power Nibblers will be going on sale at the Fish Tank Castle tonight at 11pm UK time! Originally debuting at ToyCon UK a few weeks back, the Star Wars “Power Droid” inspired colorway features a reversed chest-piece this time around, exposing the pantone-perfect yellow, pink and grey buttons of the original Kenner figure. Priced at just £20 each plus shipping, edition size has been kept a secret…

Joining the Nibblers, The Tarantulas will also be unleashing a batch of Chompysaur mash-ups. Created by Jon Malmstedt of Rampage Toys and utilising both Nibbler head and Cyclops Dino body, the flesh cast figures have been treated to a mix of watermelon neon pink/green sprays offset with black and white detailing. Limited to just 3, these will be dropping at the same time as the Nibblers, coming in at £40 each plus shipping…

Joining the slew of exclusive kaiju, sofubi and keshi that’ll be up for grabs at the Rampage Toys x Disarticulators ToyCon UK booth next Saturday, our very own Tru:Tek is proud to reveal the resurrection of one of the craziest ever resin figures in keshi form… the mighty Tanklopula! The brainchild of Triclops, Jesse Destasio and The Tarantulas, the Rampage sculpted mini figure features signature elements from all 3 artists, including tentacles, a Nibbler chest piece and Tankhead turret- all coming fitted with fully interchangeable, 100% Glyos compatible joints. Originally making a very limited appearance back in 2011, the latest (and most likely final) run has been produced in a urethane rubber courtesy of Tru:Tek, with the batch of 15 each coming in a special one-off colorway inspired by a wide variety of 80s and 90s pop culture. Touching down exclusively at the Rampage/DA booth (#16) come opening time at 9am, Tanklopula has been priced at £35 a piece. With little over a week away now until the big event, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just started to reveal the gargantuan selection of vinyl he’ll be carting along to ToyCon- starved UK kaiju and sofubi collectors be warned, you’re likely to be leaving the booth penniless and wanting more! Joining the previously teased Usir and Monoclon micro-runs, a number of other figures have been confirmed so far, including a pair of one-off Yusei Majins from Longneck, Rampage MVH customs (including the beautiful pictured DX!), Ugly Unicorn x Nibbler mash-ups with matching micros, plus an exclusive “Red” run of Splurrt’s Lab Mice… All to be released through the Rampage x Disarticulator booth (#16), pricing, edition sizes and drop times are all still to be confirmed, so be sure to keep a close eye on the Rampage IG feed here for more details soon…

Joining forces with our very own Disarticulators for what has got to be one of the most hotly tipped booths at ToyCon UK this year, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just started to reveal the horde (and we mean horde!) of toys he’ll be bring along- the first coming in the form of these beautiful Splurrt Usirs! Cast up in a crystal clear soft vinyl for the release, the 5″ tall figures have been treated to a number of sprays by Jon, both inside and out, coming complete with “mystery” guts and some insanely tight hand painted detailing (just check out those eyes!). Pricing and edition size are still to be confirmed, so be sure to come back for full release details alongside a slew of other reveals over the coming weeks!

We’re back!!! After an amazing few days with Rampage Toys‘ Jon Malmstedt over in Japan, we’re finally catching up with the stack of news and reports we plan to share with you guys- and what better way to start than with a recap of the Rampage Studios Keshi Party?! Featuring a ton of mini figure bootlegs cast up by our very own Tru:Tek including the final appearance of the Cupcake Luchas, hilarious new gachapon micros and Nama Niku’s Kentucky Fried Muscle, these were also joined by exclusive versions of both Tankhead and Eraserhead courtesy of Eric Nilla, plus the debut of The Disarticulators’ latest figure, Atomic Uchuujin- a strong showing all round we’re sure you’ll agree! With a high calibre of attendees including a number of high profile keshi collectors, the boss of Mandarake and Longneck’s Yoda-san, it truly was an honour (not to mention completely surreal!) to be in the company of so many cool people & awesome toys…

Now onto what you guys really want to know about, the online sales! Whilst unfortunately Atomic Uchuujin sold out during the show, a number of the other figures remain, including limited flesh versions of all the new keshi customs, Nama Niku’s pachi battle sets, a whole horde of gacha figures, plus one of only two flesh Oozeball and Claw sets in existence! Currently being offered up to newsletter subscribers (sign up here if you haven’t already!), any remaining figures will be up for grabs in-store later this week…

But that’s not all… On top of the Keshi Party figures, Jon is also offering up a slew of leftovers from last weekend’s Wonderfestival! On top of a number of different painted and blank Cyclops Dinos and Gachapon Goblin micros, there’s all-new minis from Grumble Toys, a Justin Hillgrove UU micro run, more Frenzy Dino mash-ups, plus the first 100% soft vinyl Cupcake Fighter with keshi omake. Following our announcement of the “One Night Only” Keshi Party over at Rampage Studios next Friday, we thought we’d share with you guys a few of the figures that’ll be making an appearance! Joining the previously revealed Catfighter keshi, Rampage Toys’ Jon Malmstedt has got to work on a trio of all-new bootlegs for the infamous Rampage gacha machine; the bike headed Otobai Man, plus micro 2 pack Robo Racer and Tank Titan, all 3 of which will be joined by a generous helping of the original Cupcake and Super Cupcake Luchas (not pictured). Also headed for the gacha comes the debut of the latest figure from Nama Niku, Kentucky Fried Muscle! We are very proud to reveal today that our very own Tru:Tek will be heading over to Japan for a special “One Night Only” Keshi Party at Rampage Studios! Taking place ahead of Wonderfestival on Friday, February 7th, the mini show is set to feature a whole heap of rubbery goodness, including all-new Rampage and Nama Niku bootlegs for the Gachapon machine (including a keshi version of the Catfighter BASTARD), a Disarticulator retrospective display, plus a special Japan-only debut of the latest Disarticulator mini figure, Alien Uchuujin. We’ll be giving the little guy his first full reveal on the blog tomorrow, so be sure to come by and check him out!

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has teamed up with Frenzy for an all-new run of Cakefighter sofubi! Created as part of the huge line-up of toys Jon will be hauling to Wonderfestival on February 9th, the latest version of the Cupcake/Barbarian mash-up has been upgraded to 100% soft vinyl this time around (the original featured a keshi head), coming cast in flesh with metallic blue frosting, metallic “rust” attire and an extra special, still unrevealed surprise! Joining a whole slew of original sofubi, customs and keshi currently being readied for this Sunday’s Superfestival 64, Jon Malmstedt proudly presents his latest mash-up micro run… the Rampage Toys x Shamrock Arrow Shark Fighter! An ingenious combination of Rampage’s Ugly Unicorn and Shamrock’s Fang, the 5″ tall figures have been cast in a gorgeous blue soft vinyl, coming with a tidy mix of silver sprays and red/gold hand painted detailing. Going on sale at booth A12 for an undisclosed sum, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that at least a couple of these guys will make it to the Rampage store soon after… Stay tuned for more reveals from Rampage later in the week!

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed that the latest batch of unpainted Gachapon Goblin micros are now available in the One-Up store! Featuring a total of 8 different designs coming from Rampage Toys, Joseph Harmon, Walter Parenton (IV – Bobbybeast creator) and Art Junkie, the little guys have been cast up in a super-squishy pink soft vinyl with a 1/10 green chase. Available to Japanese customers via a virtual gachapon machine for just 500yen a go, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that a run in this new vinyl will be available in the West soon…

Joining the raft of goodies we’ve already posted for this weekend’s Doki Doki Osaka Sofubi Event, Jon Malmstedt of Rampage Toys has teamed up with Splurrt for the “Two Heads are Better than One” Usir/Diggler set! Cast in a blue soft vinyl, each pack contains one full Usir custom and an interchangeable Diggler head, coming dry brushed in a snowy white with lilac/black sprays and metallic hand painted detailing. Due to be going on sale at the event this Sunday, December 1st for 7,000yen (approx. $70) each, any sets left over will be offered up via an online raffle next week…
