MAN-E-NEWS// The “Glow Version” Kaibutsuya Kesagake sofubi from Rampage Toys…

Jon Malmstedt of Rampage Toys will be descending upon Design Fiesta 41 this weekend with a whole load of original sofubi, custom one-offs and painted runs, the first to be revealed coming in the form of this gorgeous “Glow Verson” Kaibutsuya Kesagake sofubi!  Standing at a lofty 10.5″ tall and coming with 4 points of articulation, the menacing grizzly has been produced in a glow in the dark vinyl soft vinyl for the release, coming complete with a number of icy blue, metallic yellow and neon pink sprays. Up for grabs at the Rampage DF booth (C-356) starting Saturday, May 16th (price TBC), an extremely limited supply are due to be held back for an online lottery release at some point next week. Originally teased here last week, we can now bring you the full lowdown on Rampage Toys‘ “Ugly Club” for all you Ugly Unicorn fans out there! Featuring two different tiers of entry, Basic and Premium, both feature access to exclusive UU sofubi releases, as well as membership card discounts, Bikkuriman-style stickers and a few, as yet unrevealed surprises. Currently being offered up to Rampage newsletter subscribers – sign up here if you haven’t already – any remaining slots will be up for grabs in the Rampage Toys store at some point this Friday, April 10th. Whilst he unfortunately won’t be attending the event this year, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has revealed that he’ll have a whole slew of exclusive pieces up for grabs at ToyCon UK next month! Joining a limited micro-run of Rotten-X’s inspired by a certain “organic” superhero – more on those very soon – Jon will also have the latest round of Cyclops Dinos available in a squishy, “Ooze-It” green soft vinyl that come complete with an awesome new feature for the series- they’re fitted with squeakers! Going on sale at the ToyShack ToyCon booth on Saturday, April 26th alongside a whole host of other goodies from Triclops, The Tarantulas, Ralph Niese and our very own Tru:Tek, expect more reveals and release details closer to the event…

After a hugely successful Wonderfestival over the weekend, Jon over at Rampage Toys has revealed that a selection of unsold figures are now available for his dedicated army of international fans! Here’s a quick rundown of what’s currently up for grabs in the Rampage store right here

  • Kaibutsu Snack Pack// Featuring both male and female omake from Kesagake, the pair of sofubi minis have been cast up in a flesh toned vinyl with a mix of purple, blue and black hand painted detailing. Packed with a header created by Walter P, the set comes in at just $30.
  • RAMPAGE x NERDONE Gorilla Tank// The latest collaboration with Nerdone has been produced in a white vinyl with Rampage’s signature icy blue sprays. Coming with both Gorilla Tank and full-sized Gorilla, the pair will set you back just $150.
  • FLESH Jamira// The premier figure in the ongoing, officially Tsuburaya licensed Ultra Kaiju series, Jamira has been cast in a flesh tone vinyl for his third outing, coming complete with vintage-style purple sprays for just $40 a piece.
  • Aboras// Joining Jamira, Rampage is very proud to reveal the second figure in the Ultra Kaiju series, Aboras! Coming in an authentic teal vinyl with ivory and metallic sprays, the figure has also been priced at a very reasonable $40.
  • Holographic Sticker set// Last, but by no means least, we have the Rampage Bikkuriman-style sticker set! Featuring the last of the Cupcake Wrestler and Lab Mice stickers, these are joined by an all-new Ugly Unicorn release. Coming stamped on the back, the trio can be yours for just $10.

Originally released during last Friday’s 2 Year Anniversary show, Jon over at Rampage Toys has held back 2 of his hand painted M.O.T.U.L.O.S play sets for a special 24 hour lottery! Cast in a green vinyl this time around, the Nerdone sofubi has been treated to a stunning mix of black/gold sprays bad hand brushed detailing. Packed with full sets of 2012’s Rampage x Eric Nilla Nekos Fortress figures, the castles have been priced at just $80 each shipped worldwide. Those interested in entering the lottery are going to need to send an e-mail directly to Jon at rampage.toys@yahoo.com with the subject header “MOTULOS” plus PayPal address before close at 8pm Eastern time tonight…

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed that he will be attending Wonderfestival on February 8th with a whole host of new releases! Joining forces with the usual suspects – Nerdone, Shamrockarrow, Datadub, Pop Soda and Refreshment – a number of one-off customs and micro runs will be up for grabs including Nerdone Gorilla Tanks and some Villager Omake “Snack Packs” (which will be bagged with header card by Walter P), as well as the debut of the latest figure in the officially Tsuburaya-licensed RAMPAGE Ultra Kaiju  Series, Aboras! Standing in-scale with the previously released Jamira, the 5″ tall figure features 5 parts this time around, coming cast in a painted blue-green soft vinyl for it’s first release. To be joined by a new painted flesh Jamira, the pair will be up for grabs at the event for just $40 each, with any remaining heading online the following Monday…

Teased here earlier in the month, we can now finally bring you full release details of the Medicom Toy exclusive “RAMPAGING Polar Bear” Kesagake sofubi from Rampage Toys!  Standing at a lofty 10.5″ tall and coming with 4 points of articulation, the menacing grizzly has been produced in a snowy white soft vinyl for the release, coming complete with a number of icy blue sprays plus both male and female Hokkaido settler omake in a “frozen in ice” light blue. Currently available to Japanese customers in the Medicom store for 20,000yen ($169) plus shipping, interested parties overseas are going to need to fill in the dedicated lottery form right here before the January 10th close date for a chance at purchasing the frost-bitten beast…

With Rampage Studios‘ Holiday Extravaganza event proving to be a huge success this past Friday, owner Jon Malmstedt has revealed that only a smattering of figures remain for general sales. All currently available in the Rampage Toys store right here, we bring you a quick rundown of exactly what’s on offer…

Rampage x Konatsuya “Kubiros”- Rampage’s Jon Malmstedt takes on Konatsu’s fox sofubi Kubiros for his latest official micro-run. Limited to just 5 pieces, these have been produced in a yellow soft vinyl with subtle orange, white and red sprays for just $50 each.

Rampage x Tarantulas “Merry Nibbler”- A one-off, 4 armed variant of The Tarantulas ever popular “Nibbler” RealxHead figure, the little guy has been treated to a festive mix of metallic red, green and yellow sprays with a shiny gloss coat, coming in at just $90.

“Metal Brigade” Unicorn Tanks- The Gachapon Goblin micro tanks return for a special holiday release with Unicorn riders! Featuring a tank in either silver or bronze, each set comes complete with a full Unicorn micro that can be split in 2 and fitted on top of the tank. Priced at just $15 a set, these have been limited to just 4.

2014 Rampage x Krotpong “Killer Krampus”- Following the success of last year’s release, Krotpong’s Killer Krampus returns for another Christmas edition! Produced in a blue glow soft vinyl, the 9″ tall figure has been treated to a number of paint apps from both Rampage’s Jon Malmstedt and famed Kaiju Painter, Goto-san. Coming packed with a “demon bad child” omake, ruten (for beating said child!) and removable gold chains, the limited batch – including a one-off chase – have been priced at $100 a piece.

Rampage x Bukimi Blasters “Evil Demon”- As originally revealed here, Rampage’s Jon Malmstedt has taken on Bukimi Blasters’ Evil Demon sofubi for his latest painted micro-run. Produced in the standard mint green soft vinyl, the 5.5″ figure has been adorned with a number of blood-red sprays, rubs and hand painted detailing courtesy of Jon, coming complete with a super-gruesome matching severed head omake. Limited to just 5, these have been priced at $100 each.

Jon over at Rampage Toys is very proud to reveal that he’ll be teaming up with Medicom Toy for an exclusive “RAMPAGING Polar Bear” edition of his hugely popular Kesagake sofubi!  Standing at a lofty 10.5″ tall and coming with 4 points of articulation, the menacing grizzly has been produced in a snowy white soft vinyl for the release, coming complete with a number of icy blue sprays plus both male and female Hokkaido settler omake in a frost-bitten light blue. Due to touch down via lottery on the Medicom Toy store at some point in mid-December, the “RAMPAGING Polar Bear” Kesagake will set you back just 20,000yen ($173) plus shipping… Look out for an updated post once the release goes live!

MAN-E-NEWS// Rampage Toys’ Ultrakaiju Series “Aboras” test shot teased…

Having seen a huge amount of success with Jamira over the past 6 months, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has revealed that a second entry into the officially Tsuburaya-licensed Ultrakaiju Series will be making an appearance early next year! Taking on Ultraman’s dino-kaiju “Aboras” this time around, it would appear that the mono-horned beast will be in-scale with Jamira, standing at around 5″ tall and 6″ long. Teased here as the first vinyl test pull, we’re unfortunately going to have to wait a little while before we can get our hands on this one, the debut currently slated for Wonderfestival in February 2015. Here’s hoping we won’t have to wait until then for a full reveal…

Wasting no time since his huge showing at Design Fiesta 40 last weekend, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed that he’ll be restocking the online store with a whole heap of cute next week! Featuring the pictured Tank and Car Unicorn micros, these adorable little chaps are set to be joined by a new round of the recently released Cyclops Dino follow-ups as well as more to be revealed over the weekend. All going up for sale right here at some point on Monday, November 17th, be sure to keep a close eye on the Rampage Instagram feed here for release specifics soon…

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed a whole slew of figures he’ll be releasing in-store this Friday, October 31st as part of the huge Rampage Halloween sale! Featuring a number of leftover items from NYCC including the RT x Yamomark Cosmegira, NYCC Cadaver Kids and Lab Mice, these will also be joined by a ton of new items too, with highlights including the pictured assorted tank-micros and sets, blank green Lab Mice, GG micro 2-3 packs, plus the latest Ugly Unicorn run in a clear pink soft vinyl! Dropping at Superfestival 66 to instant sell-out success, Rampage Toys‘ “Kesagake” sofubi is set to return next week in an all-new NYCC exclusive colorway! The first figure to be released in the ongoing “Giant Monster Animal Shop” series (previously announced here), the menacing 10.5″ grizzly was inspired by the “Sankebetsu Brown Bear Incident” in Hokkaido Higuma- widely known as the worst bear attack in Japanese history – featuring a total of 4 points of articulation as well as the addition of a Hokkaido settler omake. Produced in a gorgeous unpainted clear soft vinyl with internal 4-color marble, the stunning batch of 5 figures will be dropping at the Rampage x Tru:Tek NYCC booth (#208) next Saturday, October 11th for an undisclosed sum… Stay tuned for more exclusives from booth #208 throughout the rest of the week!

Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed one of many exclusives he’ll be unleashing upon the Rampage x Tru:Tek NYCC booth (#208) in just a couple of weeks time, the “Purple” Lab Mice sofubi minis! Designed and sculpted by Splurrt and produced by Jon in Japan, the trio of 3″ creepy critters have been cast in a gorgeous matt purple soft vinyl this time around, coming with white/metallic sprays and hand painted detailing. Packed with a custom header and Bikkuriman-style holographic sticker, the set will be up for grabs starting preview night (10/9) for around $35-$40 each (TBC)…

Following yesterday’s NYCC exclusive announcement, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed yet another new figure destined for release at the con- the Pea-Shooter Mobile! Fully compatible with the Gachapon Goblin micros (primarily the pictured Crazy Unicorn!), the 1″ tall figure has been hand sculpted by Jon, coming complete with a lipped turret design that can house the whole range of GG figure top halves. Initially making it’s debut at Superfestival 66 later in the month, expect both painted and blank versions at NYCC and online soon after. Debuting at Wonderfestival and online last month, Rampage Toys‘ officially licensed Jamira “Ultraman” kaiju is set to return for a Medicom Toy exclusive run! Standing at just over 5″ tall and coming with 3 points of articulation, the Jon Malmstedt-sculpted figure has been produced by Marmit in a dark orange soft vinyl this time around, complete with yellow and light teal vintage-style sprays. Due to go on sale in the Medicom Toy store right here on Saturday, September 6th, the figure has been priced at just 4,000yen ($39) plus shipping…

Joining the recently teased “Pea Shooter Mobile” and “RAMPAGE KAIBUTSUYA” (‘giant monster animal shop’), Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed yet another 2 figures that’ve hit the wax ready for a debut release at Superfestival next month! Whilst we still can’t confirm what the pair of worshipping natives are for, our guess is that they’ll be offered up as omake minis for the soon to be revealed KAIBUTSUYA figure. MAN-E-NEWS// Rampage Toys’ JON & PUNCH mini exhibition at Cosmo Knight Alpha

Having worked on a huge number of painted runs for various artists over the past few months, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has secured arguably one of his biggest projects to date- a painted run of Yusei and Moon Majin figures for Longneck’s Yoda Masahico! Created for mini exhibition “JON & PUNCH”, to be held at Yoda-san’s legendary Comso Knight Alpha this Friday, August 15th until Monday, August 18th, the super-limited run appears to feature just 2 of both the Yusei and Moon variants, each coming with a crazy mix of multi-coloured camo bodies and flesh toned faces. For those lucky enough to be in the vicinity of the Tokyo based store this week, you can expect to pay upwards of around 50,000yen ($488) per figure…
