Briefly mentioned in our Lulubell coverage earlier in the week, Jeremi Rimel over at Miscreation Toys has just confirmed that his “Gergle” Autopsy Baby will be making it’s debut at SDCC this week! Likely to drop in the unpainted colours pictured above, we’re guessing these guys will be up for grabs as part of the big Miscreation Toys lottery and signing at the Lulubell Toys booth (#5045) on Friday, July 25th at 3pm. Edition size and pricing is still to be confirmed, so be sure to keep track of the Autopsy Baby Instagram feed here for more details later in the week… On top of the AB releases, Rimel will also be unveiling the below prototype in full at some point during the event- so be sure to stay tuned for the reveal as soon as we can get our grubby hands on it!

Frank Kozik will be pitching up at his SDCC booth (#5051) this week with a whole host of exclusive toy releases. Focusing largely on soft vinyl this year (with a hint of resin!), we bring you the full rundown of what’ll be up for grabs come opening time tonight…

“Matte Black” Dim Bear- The latest figure in Kozik’s anthropomorphic Clockwork Orange inspired series, the Blackbook Toy produced Dim features the same body as the previously released “Clockwork Carrot”, coming complete with a new goofy looking bear head design. Cast in a matte black soft vinyl for the release, the figure has been priced at $145.

“Supervillain” Clockwork Carrot- Joining his partner Dim, Clockwork Carrot will be returning in a “Supervillain” colourway! Produced in a white vinyl with Joker-inspired purple, green, red and yellow sprays, this guy will also be up for grabs at $145.

“Clear Blue” and “GID” Hateball- Kozik’s awesome Madball send up makes it’s second appearance in both glow in the dark and clear blue soft vinyl! With the GID limited to just the bigger, standalone version at $40, the clear blue edition features both large and the small, Mishka Bootleg-compatible version packed together for just $65. These have been limited to 25 each.

“Clear Blue” Heathrow- Produced in the same gorgeous clear blue vinyl as the Hateballs, these 3″ tall figures have been limited to an edition of 50, coming in at just $40 each.

“Lavender” Gipper- The latest in Kozik’s line of self-bootlegged mini busts, Gipper Reagan has been cast in a translucent “lavender” purple resin this time around. Again, limited to 50, these come bagged and tagged for $40 each.

Back from the depths of space just in time for SDCC this week, Scott Tolleson and De Korner‘s collaborative sofubi mini, Kookie No Good, has just been revealed in an exclusive “Kosmic Kookie” colourway! Standing at around 3.5″ tall and coming with articulation at the neck, the little guy has been produced in a clear glitter black soft vinyl this time around, complete with minimal red sprayed detailing. Limited to an edition of just 25 pieces, the Kosmic Kookie will be up for grabs at Tolleson’s booth (#5139) priced at $35 each…

Limited to an edition of just 3 one-of-a-kind pieces, the 7″ vintage inspired troopers have been mashed up with Bwana’s own “Jeff” sofubi, coming sprayed by the artist in his instantly recognisable, psychedelic style using a swathe of different Monster Kolor paints. Having been teased on Brian Flynn‘s Instagram feed over the past couple of weeks now, we can now unveil arguably the hottest exclusive that’ll be up for grabs at the Super7 SDCC booth later this week… the vintage-style Alien soft vinyl mini! A collaboration with none other than Secret Base, the 4.5″ tall figure has been designed to look like a classic Poppy sofubi, the black cast piece comes complete with 3 points of articulation (waste and arms), plus the inclusion of that all-important clear dome. Packaged in an authentically styled window box, the figure will be going on sale at the Super7 booth (#4945) for $45, with an online release planned through SB soon after…

With SDCC goers having to wait until later in the week to bag their Mishka exclusives (what a drag!!!), co-owner Greg Rivera has decided to have a little pre-con fun with an online micro-run release of blank Cyco Apes! Cast in a glow-in-the-dark soft vinyl, the lumbering 13″ tall beast has been limited to just 5, coming in at $150 each plus shipping. Touching down in the toy/kaiju section of the Mishka store at 12 Noon EST today (07/22), be sure to set your alarm if you’re looking to pick one up as they most certainly won’t be around for long!

With Wondefestival just around the corner, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys is proud to reveal that his take on Ultraman’s Jamira will be making it’s debut at the event in an “Original Bullmark” colourway! Officially licensed by Tsuburaya, the iconic “beast with no neck” has been hand sculpted by Jon, standing at around 5″ tall and coming with 3 points of articulation. Produced by Marmit (TBC) in an authentic vintage yellow soft vinyl with light blue/silver sprays that match the first ever Bullmark Jamira release, the figure will be making a strictly limited appearance at the “Paralyzing Toys” Wonderfestival booth this Sunday, July 27th for around 4,000yen ($40) a piece…

Multum In Parvo- In honour of Lulu Amy‘s extensive work with Arizona Pug Rescue (and her huge obsession with the breed!), Luke Rook aka Grody Shogun has realised the adorable crinkle faced canines in sofubi! Rather aptly translating to “a lot in a little package”, Multum In Parvo will be up for grabs in a number of different one-off colourways including painted, unpainted, mixed parts and marbled- each coming in at $35-$50 with $5 from every sale going directly to APARN to support their ongoing rescue and rehabbilitation efforts.

Bella Muerta micro-run- At 10am, Lulubell will be putting out 5 of the amazing “Bella Muerta” figures, a beautiful collaboration between Grody Shogun x Evil Dave. Each one is airbrushed and then masterfully handpainted by Evil Dave, with no 2 alike. Standing at around 9″ tall, these have been priced at $100 each.

Neo Japan debut release- Joining the Wonderfestival release on the Sunday, Lulubell Toys have secured a batch of RESTORE‘s NEO JAPAN for SDCC! Standing at 7.5″ tall and coming complete with honcho knife accessory, the first 5 have been allotted for a release at 10am on Thursday, with another 10 up for grabs on Friday and 5 again on Saturday. Priced at $95 each, these are limited to just 1 per customer. Not able to attend the con this year? Then fret not! A further batch of 10 will be heading to the Lulubell online store on August 1st.

“Grayve” Shub Zeroth- Metacrypt‘s Shub Zeroth is back from the dead in an exclusive “Grayve” version for SDCC 2014! From the creative genius of Brian Ewing x Hateball, Lulubell are offering con-goers a chance meet the guys and snag one of these ghostly ghouls for $120 at the booth between 1pm-2pm. A super-limited batch of grey blanks will also be up for grabs at $100 each, so be sure to get there early to avoid disappointment!

Blurble and Dski One- Calling upon the talents of 2 of Arizona’s finest, Blurble and Dski One will be on hand between 4pm-5pm with a huge selection of resin, soft vinyl and rubber figures on offer! SDCC Young Gohsts- Ferg has teamed up with Grody Shogun for a whole slew of Young Gohst micro-runs and marbled editions, including (from top) the Fire Crotch edition ($50), the Youg Gohst Faced Killahs painted by Dski One ($50), the Grody Marbles ($55) and the Shi Shi Odor edition ($50). Touching down at the booth at 11am, Ferg will also be on hand for signing.

Zine Wolf- Co-creator of Shub Zeroth, Hateball, has teamed up with Lulubell Toys for the release of his debut solo soft vinyl figure, Zine Wolf! Shrouded in mystery at the moment (aside from the image we managed to find above), we suggest keeping a close eye on the new Hateball site here for more developments as we get closer to the event. Dropping alongside a whole host of other new merc from the artist including limited edition zines, patches and essays, the Zine Wolf release/signing will be taking place at the booth from 1pm-2pm.

Miscreation Toys lottery- MT’s Autopsy Zombie Staple Baby is set to receive 2 micro-run releases, a “Peek-a-boo” GID version swirled in clears, opaques and glitters ($125) and an “Obake” edition, coming hand painted by Jeremi Rimel in a run of 4 ($175)! Both up for grabs via lottery, tickets will be handed out from the booth at 3pm with a draw to be held at 3.15pm. On top of the AZSB’s, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that the previously teased Gergle Autopsy Baby will be making it’s debut at some point too- stay tuned for more info closer to the event!

PopSoda have teamed up with none other than RESTORE for the release of their latest mid-sized sofubi, the breathtaking Jungle Fever! Designed by PopSoda and sculpted by RESTORE’s Abe Junnokai, the beautifully realised chameleon stands upright at just under 8″, coming complete with 10 separate parts and 7 points of articulation. Pictured here as an unpainted tan test cast, the soft vinyl figure is set to make it’s debut in an as-yet-unrevealed painted colourway at the Paralyzing Toys Wondefestival booth this coming Sunday, July 27th. Priced at just 7,000yen ($69) a piece, edition size on these is still to be confirmed…

With SDCC opening it’s doors in just a few days time, Greg Rivera over at Mishka has started to unveil the various exclusives they’ll have on offer at the event, starting with the pictured D-Lux Cyco Ape run! Designed by Lamour Supreme and sculpted by Atomic Vomit, the 13″ tall beast has been cast in a GID blue vinyl this time around, coming in D-Lux’s signature black rub overlaid with retina melting neon sprays. Touching down at Frank Kozik‘s SDCC booth at 11.11am on Friday, July 25th, pricing and edition size are still to be confirmed…

But that’s not all… Joining the D-Lux Apes we have the reveal of an all-new figure, the Keep Watch children’s toy! A collaboration of epic proportions, these soft vinyl figures feature the Lamour Supreme designed Keep Watch Bootleg heads with Koningu-style bodies sculpted by Ummiko. Monster Worship are pulling out all the stops for SDCC 14, proudly presenting yet another staggering line-up of exclusives for this year’s event! “UnMellow Yellow” Cannibal Fuckface- Standing at approx. 7.5″ tall with 4 points of articulation, the Johnny Ryan designed and Monster 5 sculpted figure has been produced in an unpainted yellow soft vinyl this time around. Coming complete with slorge accessory, CF will be available in “too rare” quantities, priced at $75 a piece.

Mass Murder (pictured top)- The latest figure to come from Johnny Ryan’s Prison Pit wasteland, this Monster 5 sculpted piece stands at approx. 8″ tall with seven points of articulation. Produced in an unpainted silver glitter-flake (lamé) for it’s debut, Mass Murder will be available for $85 a piece. Edition size TBC.

Micro Greasebat- Jeff Lamm’s sofubi micros return for SDCC in both unpainted glow and slime green soft vinyl! Sculpted once again by Monster5, these little guys stand at just 1.5″ tall, coming in at $15 each.

“UnMellow Yellow” Rottweiler Herpes- Joining CF, Johnny Ryan’s Rottweiler Herpes is also set to receive a super-limited run in unpainted yellow vinyl. Standing at approx. 8″ tall and coming with 3 points of articulation, the figures will be available for $75 each.

“Slime Thing” Slimebat- A tribute to everybody’s favourite Bio-Glow plant-like entity toy from Kenner in the early 90′s, Slime Thing Slimebat from Michael Skattum and Monster Worship has been cast in bio-glow vinyl with green, gold, and red spray paint accents. Standing at approx. 5.5″ tall and coming with 1 point of articulation, the figure has been priced at $50.

“Steel City” Galaxy People- Monster Worship will be teaming up with their friends in Japan, Galaxy People, to offer a three piece set featuring the heroes of the GP universe; Helios, The Grappler and Meklops. Cast in yellow japanese soft vinyl, with black and silver paint accents, MW’s signature colorway, the figures have been priced at $25 and $75 for the set.

G.R.U.P Design Works have called upon the talents of sculptor Kenth Toy Works for the release of their first ever soft vinyl figure, the adorable Rimey! Standing at 3.5″ tall and coming with articulation at the neck and in his one arm, the mummy-looking character will be seeing a release at some point in October for around 3,200yen ($32). After seeing numerous releases over the past 3 years, BLObPUS‘ “Enma” Ollie head is set to become the first figure from Mutant Vinyl Hardcore to head into permanent retirement. Seeing the monumental 13″ figure out with a bang, BLObPUS has readied 2 final versions, entitled “Beast” and “Final King”, which are currently up for grabs via lottery through his blog right here. Both coming cast in a yellow soft vinyl, the Beast Enma has been treated to a mix of Tokyo-style red and green sprays with brown highlights, whilst the Final King comes in a psychedelic “heat vision” mix of greens, blues, oranges and black. Priced at 16,800yen each, entry for the pair will be open for the next couple of days, so be sure to head on over asap if you’re interested in picking them up…

But that’s not all! Joining the Enma Ollies, BLObPUS is also holding a lottery for a Gori Sludgie Demon run too! A mash-up of the artist’s own GoriGori ape and MVH’s Sludge Demon body, the figure appears to have been cast in a pearlescent silver vinyl, complete with multi-coloured metallic sprays. Joining the previously posted CHORKO, Healeymade has just revealed the latest exclusive he’ll be bringing along to SDCC next week, the first hand painted edition of Quackula! Based on the original custom resin release, a loving tribute to both Count Duckula and Universal Monsters, the Naoya Ikeda-sculpted figure stands just shy of 7″ tall and comes with a total of 4 points of articulation. Produced in a black soft vinyl by none other than Gargamel, the figure has been treated to a minmal factory-style paint job, complete with orange, white and grey highlights. Likely to be dropping alongside CHORKO at Skinner’s SDCC booth (#5051), keep a close eye on the artist’s Instagram feed here for the full lowdown closer to the event…

Having proved to be a huge hit at the recent “Stepping Through Walls” group show, Johan Ulrich over at DeathCat Toys has revealed that he will once again be teaming up with Toy Art Gallery for a new series of Devilman inspired sofubi! Designed by Ulrich and sculpted by Grizlli Atom of Gnosis Toys, the initial line-up (pictured above) is set to feature a total of 3 6″-7″ figures alongside 6 minis. Coming as quite a surprise yesterday, the guys over at Zoomoth have revealed that not only will they be unleashing the previously posted Contra and Splatterhouse keshi at Wonderfestival next weekend, they’ll also be following up their hugely popular Samael sofubi with another officially licensed GnG figure, the fearsome Dullahan aka Shielder! Sculpted in the same scale as the previously released Arthur keshi, the towering beast comes in at just shy of 9″ tall, featuring a removable head that can be used to replicate the rock-hard boss’s signature decapitation move (seen below!). Going on sale at the Zoomoth WF booth next Sunday, July 27th, expect Dullahan to come in at around 6,000yen ($59)…

Japanese toy retailer and producer Jungle has just revealed a whole slew of figures that’ll be touching down in-store this coming Sunday, July 20th at 13.00 Japan time! Featuring new works from Touma, 10-B Factory and Shimomoku, we bring you guys a quick rundown of what will be on offer…

Jungle x Touma “Fu*King”- Touma’s hilarious middle finger-brandishing sofubi returns in 3 new meticulously weathered colourways; Junk Blue, White Ash and Scrapped Green. Standing at around 5″ tall and coming with 3 points of articulation, the strictly limited editions have been priced at 8,640yen ($85) each plus shipping…

10-B Factory “Moguming” and “Moguring”- 10-B’s adorable steampunk-esque robos receive their latest outing in a selection of previously unreleased unpainted colourways. Available in green, flesh and an aqua blue, Moguming has been priced at just 2,160yen ($21), whilst dark and light grey versions of Moguring can be yours for just 1,080yen ($11).

Shimomoku “Lampu Skull Mask”- Originally released (and quickly selling out!) over at Lulubell Toys last week, the latest version of the mischievous Lampu has been cast in a light mint green vinyl this time around, coming complete with a magnetically attached skull mask accessory. These have been priced at just 1,620yen ($16) a piece.

Johan Ulrich over at DeathCat Toys very kindly sheds a little more light on his upcoming collaboration with Nerdone, the “Nekos in My Pocket” playset! An ingenious mix of both keshi and sofubi, the super-fun set is due to feature 2 of Johan’s monochromatic rubber Death Cat minis housed in a fully painted MOTULOS castle from Nerdone- all coming packed with the beautiful header art created by Johan that you see above. Having teased the final sculpt here last month, RESTORE are proud to reveal the first painted edition of their latest sofubi, NEO JAPAN SFB, in full! Originally released as a resin garage-kit a few years back, RESTORE have since redesigned and re-sculpted the incredible design as a fully articulated, 7.5″ tall vinyl figure with hand cast resin embelishments. Due to be making it’s first appearance at Wonderfestival on July 27th in the gorgeous mix of white, black, flesh, red and gold you see above, the kitchen knife(?!) wielding warrior will be up for grabs at the event for just 8,640yen ($84), with a full release planned for August 1st.
