After a brief hiatus, the guys over at Ironhaus Pro are back with the second instalment of Universe of Violence “Chaos Dimension” mini figures! Featuring a total of 3 new designs this time around – Deadface II, West Nile and the much anticipated new “boss” figure Hell Chicken – the trio have been designed and sculpted by Jimmy Rommel, with production handed over to the newly established Ironhaus Oz, formerly Metal Monkey Studios. Set to come cast in a variety of different colored rubber, expect to see all 3 figures in the Ironhaus Oz store very soon…

After months on the drawing board, the jaw-dropping “Canine Lupis” resin figure from MM Toys is finally set to make its debut! The third figure in the team’s horror infused series of teeth monsters, the huge werewolf-like beast has been hand sculpted by Maren Seibold and roto-cast by husband Mark “HipHopRobot” Bentley, amazingly coming in at just under a pound of black tinted resin. Pictured here as the very first test paint, Mark has stated that he’ll be working his magic on another before deciding which will become the first painted run to hit the HipHopRobot store next week… Look out for full release details on the figure has soon as we have them!

Yep, it’s already that time of the month again… time for the latest round of Elegab lottery sales! Offering up a total of 3 different figures this time around – school monster “Gakkon”, produced in a black vinyl with metallic sprays, tornado beast “Tatumakira”, coming cast in a clear green vinyl with pink, blue and yellow sprays, and “Dancheera”, in a vivid brown vinyl with metallic sprays – the lofty 9″ tall kaiju have been priced at just 8,000yen ($67) each plus shipping. Anyone interested in picking up the trio are going to need to head over to the Elegab site here and get their entries in before close on Sunday, May 24th… But that’s not all! As with last months sales, Elegab will be offering up a single, randomly selected Monster Boy finger puppet to all those that win 3 or more lotteries… Good luck to all who enter!

Toy artist Joe Whiteford is proud to reveal that his hugely popular “Grizzle” resin action figure is set to return this week for an all-new micro run! A crazy infusion of Weirdballs, He-Man and cult horror, the gruesome beast has been kit-bashed and intensively re-sculpted from a number of vintage action figures, coming cast in resin and finished in the artist’s unmistakeable mix of earthy colours, layered washes and a ton of fake fur. Limited to an edition of just 4 this time around, each with it’s own unique finish (long haired variants pictured above), the figures are set to come packed with 2 custom collector cards that pay a loving tribute to both Weirdballs and MOTU. Touching down in Joe’s store at some point this Friday, May 22nd, pricing for the beasts is still to be confirmed…

Aaron Arel over at UhOh Toys is proud to reveal that he’ll have a fresh batch of “Clear with Guts” Errants sofubi up for grabs later this week! Featuring all 3 2.5″ tall designs; a scientist owl, a cowboy bull and a space faring lizard, the adorable 2 part figures have been produced in a clear soft vinyl this time around, coming complete with a number of sprays and hand painted detailing as well as those all-important UV reactive resin guts incased inside. Limited to an edition of just 5 pieces this time around, the “Clear with Guts” Errants will be touching down in the UhOh store at some point this Friday, May 22nd for around $10-$20 each (TBC)…

Elusive sofubi producers Uzumark are proud to reveal that their highly sought after Jinmen-jū (Human-faced Beast) figure will be returning for a limited online release very soon! Featuring 2 new colorways this time around; black with a red rub and tan with green and purple sprays, the pair both feature an as-yet-unrevealed new skull sculpt that has been covered with matching custom head bags. Due to touch down on the Uzumark blog via e-mail lottery over the next few days, pricing and edition size for the Human-faced Beasts is still to be confirmed. Originally revealed as a finished clay sculpt back way back in December of last year, Alex Gavryushenko over at Brooklyn based toy and apparel brand Psycho Scimitar is proud to reveal that his awesome debut sofubi is fianlly read for production! Entitled “Woebegone Mamilla” (the miserable nipple!) or Woebi for short, the crazy looking aquatic kaiju stands at around 7″-8″ tall, featuring articulation in the neck as well as 3 interchangeable eye accessories. Produced in a contrasting mix of bright pink and blue soft vinyl for it’s first release, we’re told to expect the figure in the Psycho Scimitar store at some point in the first week of June. Look out for full release details over the next couple of weeks!

Our good friend Peter Kato has just revealed his entry for Gravy Toys‘ upcoming Brodarrfest U.S group show, proudly presenting his latest resin figure, Jeff the Scrapper! A youthful rendition of Suns of Brodarr’s lead character in his early days as a “Mad Max-style pit fighting wrestler” – Peter’s words! – the little guy has been digitally sculpted, 3d printed and hand cast in resin, coming in a gorgeous mint green with subtle pink sprays and black detailing. Exhibiting alongside works from a whole host of artists from across toys and illustration, Jeff the Scrapper will be available at Brodarrfest’s opening at the FOE Gallery on Saturday, June 6th… Here’s hoping we see further editions in the not too distant future!

Hot on the heals of the limited “Gree Ness Vs. Ness Solo” Design Fiesta 41 release over the weekend, the guys over at Awesome Toy are proud to reveal that their Loch Ness Monster sofubi is now finally available in it’s first official painted colorway! Inspired by easily the most obscure and hard to obtain figure from the iconic Stretch Armstrong line – the Stretch Serpent – the stunning 4″ tall figure features a number of design alterations that better suit the new medium, including a revised head sculpt plus a small curling tail similar to Leo Boya’s Guzo Kaiju. Produced in a bright green soft vinyl and treated to minimal masked yellow and black sprays with red hand painted detailing, the figure is currently available via preorder through the Toy Underground store right here, with each coming packed with a bonus sticker designed by Michael Skattum for just $40 a piece… Missed out on the first run of blanks? Then you’ll be glad to know that Awesome Toy are also offering up the figure in unpainted green for $35. Available for a limited time, we suggest heading on over to the store and picking one up before you miss out again!

Teased here in prototype form back in March, the “El Barto” resin figure from apparel brand Scumbags and Superstars has just been revealed in-full! Inspired by the brans highly popular enamel pin badge of the same name, the bootleg Bart has been sculpted from the ground up by an unknown artist, coming in-scale with the original Playmates Simpsons action figures at around 3.5″ tall. Cast in a yellow resin and hand painted by the chaps over at Dubose Art, expect to see the little guy in the S&S store as part of a fully blister carded release very soon… Keep track of the S&S Instagram feed here for the full lowdown over the next couple of weeks…

Following a huge showing at Design Fiesta 41 over the weekend, Japan-based artist Brian Bunting is proud to reveal that he has just loaded the Galaxy People online store with a whole host of leftover figures! Featuring the previously revealed Drexyl, Skreel and Traag micro-runs, these have been joined by a total of 4 one-off Grappler customs plus the GP x Rampage Galaxy Racer micros. Priced between just $15-$35 each plus shipping, interested parties are going to need to head on over to the store asap to avoid disappointment as supplies are extremely limited…

Bowing to the constant requests of fans, Splurrt has revealed that he’ll be offering up a trio of blank figures in his online store this weekend! Featuring the Usir and Evolved Beast Diggler alongside the new Walking Cadaver (pictured below), all 3 figures have been produced in an unpainted “army man” green (Pantone 7733) soft vinyl for the release. Following our look at the “Pocket Guardian” minis earlier in the week, we can now reveal the whole slew of other Galaxy People figures artist Brian Bunting will be bringing along to Design Fiesta 41 this weekend! Aside from the adorable little Guardians, attendees of the event can expect new painted runs and one-off customs of all 3 new “villain” characters – Drexyl, a teleporting cat assassin, Skreel, the galaxy bat, and Tragg, a ruthless dinosaur-headed mercenary (top) – the trio will be joined by new Sensorbats and Drexyls as well as a limited batch of GP x Rampage micro tank mash-ups. Available from DF booth C-250 this Saturday, May 16th – Sunday, May 17th, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed any leftovers make it to the Galaxty People online store soon after…

Whilst the guys at Awesome Toy unfortunately won’t be making it over to Design Fiesta 41 this weekend, they’ve decided to offer up something a little special instead… the “Gree Ness Vs. Ness Solo” Limited Duel Set! Marking the first painted release of Awesome Toy’s tribute to Kenner’s infamous Loch Ness Stretch Monster, the 4″ tall figure have been produced in both flesh and green soft vinyl, coming with a number of sprays and hand painted detailing inspired by Star Wars’ iconic Han Solo and Greedo scene. Up for grabs via limited preorder through the Toy Underground store right here, interested parties can pick either Gree Ness or Ness Solo separately for $40, or together for just $75. We suggest heading over soon to avoid disappointment as the preorder will only be up for the duration of Design Fiesta!

With the original “Dissolution of Smoke” sofubi proving to be a huge success (check it here), creator Algangu has wasted no time in getting to work on a second wave of characters! Featuring a total of 3 all-new designs inspired by traditional yokai and 1970’s candy shop playing cards, the finger puppet-style figures – a gourd holding monk, a castle and a cycloptic hat – stand a little shorter than the first release at around 2.5″-3″ each. Pictured above in finished test shot form, Dissolution of Smoke: Vol. 2 is expected to drop very soon… Look out for full release details over the coming weeks!

Hot on the heels of the “Glow Version” Kesagake posted earlier in the week, Jon Malmstedt over at Rampage Toys has just revealed another run of figures he’ll have up for grabs at Design Fiesta 41 this weekend, the Mixed-Part Gnaw-X’s! Taken from Rampage Toys x Skull Head Butt’s recent monster collaboration, the 8.5″ beast features Plaseebo‘s Gnaw head sculpt on top of SHB’s standard “X” body. Jointly produced by Rampage Toys’ Jon Malmtsedt and Marmit, the figure has been cast in a selection of bright green, dark green, red, milky, orange and GID vinyl, coming complete with a detail-hugging black wash and randomly assorted dolls eye inserts. Limited to an edition of just 4 pieces, the Mixed-Part Gnaw-X’s will be up for grabs at Rampage’s DF booth (C-356) starting Saturday, May 16th (price TBC)… Look out for more Design Fiesta reveals from Rampage tomorrow!

Originally revealed in test-shot form way back in January, the new “Chi-Chi” and “Nei” heads for Cherri Polly‘s adorable Nenne sofubi are finally making their debut this weekend as part of a huge online sale! Joined by limited runs of Nenne in “Brown Tabby”, “Tiger” and “Gold/Silver” colorways, the pair’s first release sees them in a mix of yellow and light brown soft vinyl, complete with a number of subtle spray accents and hand painted detailing. But that’s not all… As well as the standard editions, both Chi-Chi and Nei join Nenne for another round of “Evil” one-offs! Sprayed in a gorgeous color-changing maziora paint, each has been treated to subtle masked and brushed detailing… Priced at $90 for the customs and just $35 for the limited runs, Cherri Polly’s impressive selection of new figures will be touching down in the Baketan store at some point this Friday, May 15th…

Marking the return of his signature Cap Duck figure in a sleek “Steel Space” colorway, the stunning piece will be joined by 2 versions of the Cat Rider – “Lucky Cat Rider” and “I am Catrider” – as well as Gummy Duck a selection of 5 all-new translucent colorways.
