MAN-E-NEWS// The Kruzzilla vinyl figure from Ministry of Kongz…
With the original resin figure a resounding success, Ministry of Kongz (originally Kobzilla) are happy to reveal that Kruzilla has just made the transition to vinyl! Inspired by the mythical Thai bird ‘Khrut’ with a dash of King Kong for good measure, the 4.5″ tall beast has been retooled by MoK to feature articulation in the wings/arms and waste, leaving the rest of the design largely unchanged. Due to be touching down in the MoK store at some point next week, an initial run of unpainted white blanks will be up for grabs, priced at just $26 plus shipping (group discounts available). Famed customiser Justin Phillips aka JFury comes with his latest original resin release, the mischievous Little Bunny Boom Boom! Standing around 4.5″ tall and 6.5″ wide ear to ear, the bomb wielding bunny will be offered up in 2 initial colourways; the signature ‘Sea Green’ and original GID. Up for pre-order on the Furious Customs store over a 72 hour period starting today (May 24th) at 12pm PST, the figure will be available for $65 a piece, or just $115 for the pair… Stay tuned for the next wave of colours soon!

With the B.A.S.T.A.R.D Show opening it’s doors today at Tokyo’s Rampage Studios, the guys over at Triclops reveal the fourth and final exclusive resin figure up for grabs… the hilarious Cock ‘Ed! Kit-bashed from the ripped #87 M.U.S.C.L.E, the chicken headed wrestler has been cast in a whole host of different coloured resins for the show. No news as to edition size or price at the moment, but we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that at least a couple make it to the Rampage Toys store when the online sale hits on Monday, May 27th… Stay tuned for the full lowdown on that soon!

Hot off the heals of the latest Fight Bros release, Blurble proudly presents his latest resin figure, the adorable Sparrow! Designed by Blurble and sculpted by ERA Sculpture‘s Josh Sutton, the 3″ tall piece comes with removable hat and skateboard that doubles up as a fully working fingerboard! NiStuff over at 481 Universe continues his onslaught of amazing Glyos customs, as he reveals that yet another huge batch will be touching down in-store this week! Featuring a whole host of standard Glyos parts, TGB’s Armorvor, Outlander test shot parts, custom resins and even one-off sculpts, the stunning mash-ups have all been lovingly painted in NiStuff’s familiar blend of metallic Monster Kolor sprays, super tight detailing and hi-gloss finish. Expected to retail between $20-$50, the horde of figures will be touching down in the 481 Universe store this Friday, May 24th at 8pm EST…
MAN-E-NEWS// The Euranth resin figure from pe•cu•liar…
Jakarta based indie toy outfit pe•cu•liar are proud to present their debut resin figure, the gorgeous Euranth… Taking inspiration from the ‘strange’ including kaiju, myth, legend, surrealism and outsider art, the guys are focusing on releasing designs based on their own myth, a myth of Glandastern, with this initial figure representing the god of nature. Standing at around 5″ tall, the beautifully sculpted piece is due to come in a run of 10 hand cast and painted pieces (colour proto shown above). Further release details will be dropping soon, but in the mean time we’ll leave you with a little background info on the character…

The last of this figure to feature the original ‘Super Suck Up’ action figure head, the retina burning minis have been cast by Healeymade with hand finished detailing from Buff. Glyos custom king Ersico tackles something a little different for his latest piece, as he proudly presents his take on Blockheads Toys‘ awesome Sgt. Corpse Grinder bootleg! Hand cast in a crystal clear resin, the Frankenstein/vintage army man mash-up has been expertly painted up in a mixture of opaque, black rubbed colours for the clothing, and a C-Thru ‘monster’ green for the skin. Unfortunately we’re still not sure as the whether this guy will be hitting either the Ersico or Blockheads store in the near future, but we’re sure if you head over to either of their IG feeds (here and here) and ask politely, something can be arranged!
MAN-E-NEWS// The Jung Busch Resin Toy Show + leftover sale from Goodleg Toys…
The fine chaps at Goodleg Toys were given the honour of holding Berlin’s first resin toy show at Jung Busch over the weekend, featuring a number of new figures including the third WAR ON PREHIS prototype, the last edition of Claw Drone, “The Death Claw Squadron”, the 1st WotU Series 2 figure “Moneybash”, the 2nd Shipwrecked Plunderboys release “Sbobbabob”, plus a new release soo secret, we can’t even publish photos! Originally planned as just a one day event, the show has proven so popular that an extension has been granted until Friday (May 24th)- so if you’re in the area be sure to head down and take a look at the amazing display… You’re going to want to mark Friday down for another reason too, as this will be the day any remaining figures will be heading to the Goodleg store for general release! Here’s a quick rundown of what will be on offer come Mindnight (GMT+1)-

Again, not a platform we usually feature here on Man-E-Toys, this recently posted Garbage Pail Kid inspired Munny custom from HamFX was just simply to cool to ignore… Created for the last Kidrobot live-painting event in San Francisco, the hilarious piece was inspired by arguably GPK’s most iconic character, Adam Bomb, featuring the same exploding cranium and mushroom cloud- but now in eye popping 3D! Coloured in a faithful selection of vivid tones, the paint app, although slightly rough, does a wonderful job in replicating the painterly strokes of the original trading cards- Impressive, especially when you consider this piece was created live! Now if only Kidrobot would take heed and get to work on an official series…

Fresh from the huge OMFG/Elephantos drop last week, the ever busy Daniel Smith aka turboPISTOLA kindly shares yet another batch of customs ready for release! Flexing his newly found Monster Kolor muscle, Daniel has gone to town on 3 very different pieces; ESC Toys’ Turtum Micci mini ($40), Scott Tolleson’s GID Deadbeat sofubi ($130), and our favourite, the classic Skekiltor resin from the now defunct Halfbad Toyz ($30)- each featuring an expert black rub layered with numerous washes and tight fades. Look out for these guys when they hit the turboPISTOLA store later today (May 21st) at 1pm Eastern time…

So, not completely toy-related on this one, but anything Garbage Pail Kid related deserves a slot on Man-E-Toys, right?! Inspired by the classic 80′s trading card series’ resurgence in recent years (no doubt helped by Buff Monster’s Melty Misfits, and of course the newly announced Cheap Toy comeback!), artist Renone is proud to announce his debut trading card/sticker series, the strictly adult-only FUK: Fucked Up Kids! Featuring a total of 12 artists including Man-E-Toys regulars Tim Stephson (Ultimate Skull and Cobra) and Don Chulo (Playful Gorilla), the 12 standard designs will be joined by a number of ‘chase’ cards including prismatic prints, plus a one-off ticket offering the lucky holder a chance to appear as a character in Series 2! Up for pre-order through the RenoneLab store right here, packs are currently being offered up for $10, whilst an uncut sheet featuring all of the designs is available for just $25… Stay tuned for a full reveal soon!

Making an appearance at Design Fiesta over the weekend, Jon over at Rampage Toys has managed to secure a batch of the latest mini figures from Japanese capsule toy artist Konosuke Chishma, the uber-cute Animal People! Standing at a micro-sized 1″ of hand cast resin, the series features 5 different sculpts; Shark, Octopus, Bear, Koala and Chicken. Produced in a number of randomly assorted colours (including the all important flesh tone!), the little guys have first been offered up to Rampage newsletter subscribers for just $8 each, with any remaining stock hitting the Rampage store alongside a whole host of other Design Fiesta goodies later in the week. Here’s hoping we see more from Konosuke soon!

Following news of Bigmantoys’ Legend Critters earlier today, we thought it rather apt to finally show you guys the recently released “Deep Dish” exclusives for Toy+Life! Cast by our very own Tru:Tek in an authentic keshi-style rubber, the Chicago inspired blue/white marbled mini figures came packed in a custom mini deep pan pizza dish and sleek velcroed box. Limited to just 6 pieces (all of which were accounted for at C2E2), another batch of 14 have been created for those unfortunate to miss the first round. We hear that a waiting list of interested parties has already been created, so we suggest hitting up Toy+Life directly through their site here to enquire about any remaining slots…
