As a cheeky reminder that our Oozeball sofubi preorder will be closing at 9pm London time tomorrow (11/24), we thought we’d share some images of this gorgeous custom paint job from none other than GUUMON! Utilising the recent resin prototype version – of which just 1 remains in-store right here – the artist has treated the 3″ diameter Madball-style figure to his signature “Titanium” paint app, coming with a silver base layered with an array of stunning clear blue, purple, green and yellow sprays. Whilst this one-off will unfortunately be staying in the GUUMON private collection for the foreseeable future, we’ll be working alongside the artist for a special release in the new year- stay tuned for more news soon!

Having recently focussed his attentions towards the ongoing Suck Panelz and Mashups series, The Sucklord has finally returned to reclaim the custom bootleg crown with his latest resin release, BRANDED: OUTLAW! The first entry in a new line from the artist, COWBOYS: The Suckadelic West, the 3.75″ tall piece has been kit-bashed from a variety of vintage action figures, coming hand cast in resin and painted factory-style with acrylics. With the cold weather finally creeping in over New York, artist Peter Kato has decided to battle the inevitable winter blues with a new round of Bedtime and Sleeptime Bunnies! Coming cast in an assortment of November frozen blue hues ranging from light to dark (as well as a super-rare clear blue chase), a total of 15 medium-sized Bedtime Bunnies, 15 small-sized Bedtime Bunnies and 35 Sleeptime Bunnies are to make up the release, coming blind-packed for just $20, $12 and $12 each respectively. Having built a huge name for themselves in the custom bootleg scene over the past couple of years, the guys over at Blockheads Toys are very proud to announce the release of their first 100% original figure, the officially backed Dr Octagon! Recurring persona of legendary rapper Kool Keith, the extraterrestrial time traveling gynecologist from the planet Jupiter has been digitally sculpted by Co Kreeate based on the illustration used for the artist’s debut solo album cover - Dr. Octagonecologyst - coming cast in solid resin and hand painted by Blockheads. Due to come blister packed with art from rapper-come-illustrator AWOL ONE – the man behind securing the official Kool Keith backing – expect to see the doctor in the Blockheads store just in time for Christmas. Debuting at Designer Con ’14 a couple of weeks back, Skinner’s latest sofubi, Morgogg “The Whispering Prince” and Ogos “Eye of the World” have finally been slated for an online release soon! Taking on a more traditional kaiju aesthetic than both Sextopigon and Lolgolth Gnazgoroth, the large-size figure has been designed by Skinner with sculpting duties once again handed over to the hugely talented David Arshawsky- the original sculptor of the ’88 TMNT line and Skinner’s recent Lurker minis – with both figures featuring the same body with different heads and matching club accessories. Produced in a “wax” green soft vinyl by none other than Velocitron in Japan, the pair are due to be offered up unpainted for $175 each or just $300 for the set. Following the hit first wave of classic designs, the line continues with 4 more additions; Ripley in Spacesuit, Kane with Facehugger, Kane with Chestburster and Metallic Alien; featuring a mix of repurposed sculpts from the first run as well some all-new designs. Produced by Funko in a plastic that is said to be a lot more sturdy and hard wearing than the recent wave of ReAction releases, each of the 4 PVC figures come housed on an authentic blistered card back for just $9.99 each. It’s been a while since we last featured one of ManOrMonster? Studios‘ One-Off Wednesday releases, largely due to them selling out before we can get a post up, but this week’s was simply just too good to ignore… the awesome “Beast” Back Alley Brawler! An ingenious homage to Street Fighter’s green skinned mutant Blanka – more accurately, his 3.75″ GI Joe action figure interpretation – the one-off custom piece has been kit-bashed and re-sculpted from a variety of different vintage toys including Thundercats’ Mumm Ra and MOTU’s Hordak. Standing at around 5.75″ tall and featuring 4 points of WoW compatible articulation, the hand painted figure comes bagged with a custom header card for just $75 plus shipping. Richard Page over at UME Toys has very kindly informed us that his collaborative figure with illustrator Jonathan Edwards - the mischievous Poblin – is now up for auction via eBay! Designed by Jonathan and sculpted/produced by Richard, the solid resin figure stands at around 6.5″ tall, sporting an array of washes and brushwork in a mix of red, grey, black and white acrylics. Originally created as a limited edition of 10 figures for the recent International Comic Arts Festival, the last remaining piece can be found right here on the auction site with a starting bid of just £60 plus shipping. Never to be released again in this “OG” colorway, interested parties are going to need to head over and place their bid before close on November 28th to be in with a chance of bagging the figure…

Super7 are proud to reveal that their loveable mascot Mummy Boy is set to return this week in an all-new colorway! After taking a nice long nap in his sarcophagus, the mid-sized Mummy emerges from his slumber with old dusty bandages cast in ivory vinyl, coming with tan and white sprays on top of a brown rub treatment and finished with bright red accents. Joining Mummy Boy, the guys also have a new edition of Le Merde’s professional tennis playing vampire, Hollis Turd. The guys behind low brow art blog Streets of Beige have just announced the launch of their new bootleg rap toy imprint, Trap Toys! Unofficially kicking things off with their Bernard Rollins collaboration “Action Figure Bronson” at Plastik Schmack back in September, the figure unfortunately received a cease and desist soon after show, leaving the awesome pictured Run the Jewels x TMNT piece to spearhead the new company instead. A loving homage to El-P and Killer Mike’s new hip hop outfit RTJ, the hulking, 11″ tall figure has been kit-bashed and re-sculpted from the rare TMNT Krang Android Body to resemble the duo, coming recast in resin and treated to a black/turquoise paint app that reflects the artwork from duo’s self-titled first album. Japanese artist Aya Kakeda has teamed up with Tomenosuke for the release of her first ever sofubi, the adorable Microbus! Standing at around 6.5″ tall, the gorgeous wheeled figure features a unique baby toy-inspired design, featuring fully working wheels on the base and 5 fully detachable and interchangeable micros riding on the back. Debuting in an unpainted clear pink “To the Mystic Forest” colorway that’s been limited to just 30 pieces, the unique looking figure is currently available via preorder through the Tomenosuke store right here, priced at 11,500yen ($99) plus shipping… Here’s hoping for a fully painted edition soon!

Similar to the previous “Mariage” release, the set features 2 3″ Uamou minis produced in a white soft vinyl, but whilst the top hat and bow tie wearing male remains the same, the female’s tiara has been replaced by a wonderfully ornate, hand made head piece from Odette.
